Richard Neubarth - ASSOCIATE

Prior to joining Wenig Saltiel, Richard Neubarth was in private practice for over 20 years, where he handled Landlord Tenant matters from Trial through Appeal, Environmental Control Board cases and Criminal Court Fire and Building Code violation proceedings as well as Commercial Leasing matters.

 

He has also served as General Counsel and Operations Counsel for a metropolitan real estate management organization including overseeing commencement and litigation of eviction cases, defense of HP cases and DHCR proceedings and facilitated the creation and oversight of a self insurance claims department for over 3500 rental units. 
 

He has engaged in Pro Bono representation of tenants for whom Guardians Ad Litem have been appointed.

 

He has also served as a Small Claims Arbitrator throughout the city, and in 2010 received the Arbitrator of the Year Award for Queens County.
